ABINGDON DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB

   Welcome to the web site of Abingdon Duplicate Bridge club!   Hopefully it is a useful place to visit for all members of the club and the Oxford Bridge Association (OBA), and of course, potential visitors.  You will find here details of our club results, competitions, newsletters, articles and calendar for the year, our membership list and who to contact at the club.         The EBU’s national grading scheme has gone live at last!  You can log-in in the member’s area on the EBU website to look at your own ranking, or alternatively, Click here  to look at the top player’s rankings and/or search for your friend’s grade, or even your regular partner’s – they might be different to yours!  Click in the right hand box and type in the name you want to search for in the format ‘bloggs,first name (or initial)’.    You can also look at the top Partnerships in the Country – click on ‘TOP PARTNERSHIPS’.  All information about the scheme is on www.ebu.co.uk – most detail is in ‘Barry’s Blog’… happy reading! ABINGDON REGAIN THE LEN SALMON TROPHY!   The Len Salmon Trophy (annual match between Abingdon and Wallingford) was played on the 27th November 2011 at Roke Village Hall and was won by Abingdon.  The A team won 18-2, the B team won 20-0 and the C team lost 4-16.  Well done all… all we need now is the cup!

Have a look at the overall SIMS results at ECats!  ALL SIM RESULTS ARE THERE!!.. though the EBU will be operating its own system for most competitions from 2012 onwards.
